1.
Ethical Exclusivity
We are firm believers and practitioners of ethical exclusivity, which is sadly something not all counseling practices can say. Too often, counselors choose quantity over quality in an effort to raise a buck. When they do this, they neglect to provide their clients with the highest quality of treatment and care.
2.
Flexible Scheduling
We think it’s important to offer weekend and evening appointments for our clients, so we ensure to have members on staff who can cater to those with busy work schedules and to those who can’t always make it into our office during the week.
3.
Whole Person Care
Our goal is to provide you with well-rounded psychotherapy and counseling services to not just part of you, but the whole you. That’s why we’ve formed partnerships with medical professionals, substance abuse specialists, dietitians and personal trainers.
4.
Evidence-Based Treatment
We offer evidence-based treatment services that have been clinically proven as effective for treating our clients’ needs, and each of our staff members will work with you to find a solution that works best for your situation.
5.
Multiculturally Competent and Aware
Multicultural Awareness involves a greater understanding, sensitivity, and appreciation of the history, values, experiences, and lifestyles of groups that include, but, are not limited to:
-
Race
-
Ethnicity
-
Gender
-
Sexual Orientation
-
Religious Affiliation
-
Socio-economic Status
-
Mental or Physical Abilities

Integrated Approach to Treatment
Integrated behavioral health care is an emerging field within the wider practice of high-quality, coordinated health care. In the broadest use of the term, “integrated behavioral health care” can describe any situation in which behavioral health and medical providers work together.

The care a patient experiences as a result of a team of primary care and behavioral health clinicians, working together with patients and families, using a systematic and cost-effective approach to provide patient-centered care for a defined population.

This care may address mental health and substance abuse conditions, health behaviors (including their contribution to chronic medical illnesses), life stressors and crises, stress-related physical symptoms, and ineffective patterns of health care utilization.

Multiple Payment Options
The fee for psychotherapy is established during the initial session. The fee is determined based on the standard and customary rate for psychotherapy in Michigan. I attempt to make all efforts to work with individuals based on their unique financial circumstances.
We accept cash, check and credit cards.

If I do not accept your insurance plan, you may still be eligible for out-of-network coverage. Many of my patients are able to obtain substantial coverage for psychotherapy using out-of-network benefits. I am happy to assist in completing the necessary forms for reimbursement.
